The Orbea Rallon DH 450 D-LTD 29/27.5" 2026 is a pure downhill bike, designed without compromise for speed and absolute control. Directly derived from World Cup development, it is the same model used by professional riders on the most demanding tracks. With 200 mm of travel front and rear, it is built to absorb the most violent impacts, maintain a stable line at high speed and provide total confidence on the steepest slopes.
The OMR carbon frame is engineered to place the center of gravity as low as possible, ensuring exceptional stability and precise handling in fast and rough sections. Thanks to the GravityLink technology developed by Orbea, the shock is positioned very low in the frame, which improves suspension sensitivity and strengthens the bike's overall balance. The kinematics deliver consistent traction, essential for staying glued to the ground on broken and technical terrain, while maintaining excellent support in compressions.
A major strength of the Rallon DH is also its adaptability. Its adjustable geometry allows fine-tuning of the bike's behavior according to the track, riding style or race conditions. The Flip Chip system offers the ability to adjust shock progression by about 5%, optimizing support or sensitivity as needed. The mullet configuration, with a 29" front wheel and a 27.5" rear wheel, combines stability, steering precision and maneuverability—an important advantage on modern downhill tracks.
The high-end suspension, consisting of a Fox 40 Float Factory fork and a Fox Float X2 Factory shock, delivers smooth and ultra-high-performance operation at very high speeds. Every detail of the chassis has been reinforced, notably around the bottom bracket, to increase lateral stiffness and steering precision. The work on the carbon fibers provides the ideal compliance where needed, without ever compromising frame strength, for maximum grip and confidence on the supports.
In terms of equipment, the Rallon DH 450 D-LTD is built for pure competition. The Shimano Saint 1x10-speed drivetrain is renowned for its robustness and reliability in extreme use, while the Shimano XTR hydraulic brakes offer impeccable braking power and consistency—indispensable in downhill. Oquo Mountain Control wheels paired with Maxxis Assegai front and Minion DHR rear tires guarantee maximum grip and optimal control in all conditions.
Designed for riders who pursue only one thing—going as fast as possible downhill—the Orbea Rallon DH 450 D-LTD 2026 is a true World Cup weapon. Stable, precise, adjustable and incredibly performant, it is aimed at committed riders who want to push their limits and dominate the most extreme downhill tracks with confidence and control.
